RPACT version 1.0.0 available on CRAN
We are happy to announce that the first official release of the RPACT package is available on CRAN (The Comprehensive R Archive Network):

RPACT offers programming, training, and consultancy in confirmatory adaptive designs using the R software. You, e.g., can book a RPACT package training at a company site; can ask for access to extended manuals, best practice descriptions and additional examples; can order the implementation of frequent workflows and processes with the RPACT package.
The R package RPACT is a statistical program module, characterized as a comprehensive, validated software R package, that enables the simulation and analysis of parallel group designs with continuous, binary, and survival endpoint. RPACT can be downloaded per CRAN and will be available as open-source under LGPL3.

The release of the RPACT package on CRAN is in progress. The binray and source version of the release candidate is already available for Prime Service Level Agreement members. Please visit the rpact.org download page to download the R package.

The first RPACT training course at July 3rd 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany, was fully booked. The full day course started with an introduction to the theoretical background by Professor Gernot Wassmer.
Friedrich Pahlke gave an intrduction to the RPACT package and its user concept. After lunch the course participants were familiarized with the functional spectrum of the package and they practiced the handling of the package using practical examples on their own laptop.
In preparation for the RPACT beta version training course at July 3rd 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany, we published the second beta version of RPACT package. We presented the current development status of the R package RPACT to the participants of the "APF Statistikleitertreffen" at April 20th, 2018 in Sulzbach near Frankfurt, Germany.
One day before the participation in the BBS course on group-sequential and adaptive designs in Basel, we presented a first alpha version of the RPACT package at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd in Basel.
Kaspar Rufibach, Daniel Sabanés Bové and Marcel Wolbers took a first look at the package, its functions, the underlying software design and the source code.
